The two stories of Ring of Fire are the bookends of the Benchland series. Warriors tells the backstory of two major characters. Child of Fire, set a half-century later, brings the Benchland saga to a close.

Ring of Fire’s characters and setting will be familiar to readers of the first two Benchland books, but it can be read independently.
